Leadership

At Northside, we believe that strong leadership and healthy oversight are essential to building a school that honors Christ and serves families well. Our leadership model is designed to reflect a deep partnership between the local church and our organization, ensuring that biblical values and educational excellence go hand in hand.

We’ve established a clear and accountable structure—guided by both a dedicated Board of Directors and a Church Council—to safeguard our mission and steward this school with integrity. Every decision is made with care, transparency, and a long-term vision for Northside’s future.

Admissions & Communications

Amber Kreider has served on staff at Redeemer Missionary Church since 2013 focusing on children’s ministry, administration, special events, and more. She also fulfills several volunteer roles in a variety of non profit ministries. One of her favorite roles is "Teacher's Wife" alongside her husband Jeff who's been working as a classroom teacher for almost 20 years.

The Kreider family moved from the public school world to private Christian education 8 years ago with both Jeff teaching and their two children attending. They are so grateful for the way Christian teachers have provided excellence in education alongside scripture and sound doctrine.

Amber is thrilled about Northside's commitment to creating an environment where families can nurture their kids and teens in a space that not only respects their biblical worldview but actively celebrates and reinforces it. She believes that providing a safe haven for children to explore, learn, and grow is invaluable, and she is eager to see how Northside will empower the next generation to thrive in their faith and creativity.

She also teaches full time as an Associate Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University.  With a strong commitment to both education and faith, she values an environment that combines strong academics with Christian principles. Alisha is married to her husband, Ken, and they have four wonderful children.

Her personal and professional journey has given her a unique perspective on the value of Christian education. Her four children attended public school for most of their education, and she began her teaching career at a secular university. In 2020, she joined the faculty at IWU, and in 2022, she decided to transfer her children to a Christian school. Through these experiences, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative benefits that a private, faith-based education offers to both her own children and her students.

Alisha believes that a strong education grounded in faith can make a profound difference. She is excited about Northside Christian School and believes it will be an incredible ministry to the community, integrating faith into every aspect—academics, sports, and extracurriculars. She is passionate about helping kids grow not just in knowledge and skills, but also in character and values.
